running and getting absolutely nowhere

We don't use our credit cards. We haven't in quite some time now.
We live only on the money in our checking account.
We've been doing a minimalist thing for about a month now - living cheap!
We paid off one credit card.

And yet... I feel we have absolutely nothing to show for it all.

I'm hoping next month will look a little better. Maybe the minimalist living will show better on next month's bills. The lack of one of our credit card payments will hopefully make a difference. Next month.
